Rick specialises in commercial litigation and insolvency.  Rick has extensive experience as a litigation solicitor, having acted for the liquidators of New Zealand's first trans-Tasman liquidation, for the statutory managers of a major group of companies, for liquidators, and receivers in a number of high profile insolvency assignments and as lead solicitor in many complex commercial cases.  Rick is a member of the New Zealand Credit & Finance Institute and of INSOL, a special interest section of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants.

In his spare time, Rick reads British and European history and military history up to and including World War 2 (participating, whenever possible, in battlefield walks) and he enjoys wargames, sailing, kayaking and golf (if he is playing well).
