Katie is a senior lawyer in Jackson Russell’s Business Law Team. Her areas of legal speciality are commercial contracts, franchising, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate and commercial law.

Katie aims to provide her clients with clear, practical advice tailored to meet their business requirements. She enjoys getting to know her clients and their businesses, and assisting them with their business law needs, whether it be drafting commercial contracts, advising on a merger or acquisition, or responding to a query about a contract or legal requirement. Katie has a wide range of commercial experience, particularly in the areas of franchising, mergers and acquisitions, and technology.
Katie began her career with Russell McVeagh in Auckland, before heading to London to work in house, firstly at a leading telecommunications provider, and then for an IT services company. She first joined Jackson Russell in 2012, and has recently returned to us after taking a break to have her two children.
Katie has a law degree and an arts degree from the University of Auckland. In her spare time she is kept busy chasing her small children around playgrounds. Katie also loves to spend time with her family and friends, travelling near or far, and reading.
