Serish joined Jackson Russell in 2019, after having worked for many years as a general legal practitioner in a longstanding suburban law firm in South Auckland. Serish’s legal background is rich in diversity and she has experience which spans several areas of the law. Her broad-ranging skill set and ability to understand a range of legal disciplines enable her to approach the practice of law in a pragmatic and practical manner.
Serish is client focused, and thrives on achieving the best possible results for her clients. She enjoys practicing law in a down to earth manner, making her advice and expertise accessible to individuals from all walks of life.
Serish has experience in a broad range of property and private client work. This includes residential and commercial property sales and purchases, reviewing and advising on ‘off the plan’ purchases, subdivisions, acting for landlords and tenants on commercial leasing matters, advising on retirement village occupation licenses, drafting and advice on wills and enduring powers of attorney, and general property issues.
Serish is a member of the Auckland Women Lawyers Association and Property Council NZ.
Outside of work Serish enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, and has a keen interest in human rights issues. Serish is also a mentor as part of the New Zealand Law Society’s mentoring pilot programme.
