Alert: Unfair contract terms protection coming to businesses?

The Minister of Commerce and Consumer Affairs and the Minister for Small Business have today released a discussion paper on unfair commercial practices. The paper considers options to:

increase protections for businesses and consumers against unfair conduct; and
increase protections for businesses against unfair contracts.

Submissions on the paper close at 9am on 25 February 2019. We will be commenting further in the New Year. If you would like help to make a submission, please let us know.
